Sarah outdid herself with this one and the conclusion to this series was incredibly breath-taking! I loved how all those loose ends were tied together, how she managed to give each and every single character not only the time to shine but also the necessary space to develop, to grow. So here I am, finally facing this review and no longer denying those words that craved to spill out of my fingers for such a long time. My heart and mind persisted that I write it down and who am I to deny my souls biggest desire? ![]() For a while I didn’t even know if I wanted to write a review, but the more time passed and the longer I thought about it, the more I realized that I just had to get it out of my system. Two entire years! This isn’t only a testimonial to how destroyed I was after finishing this series but also to how strongly I felt about it. I was so thoroughly heartbroken that it took me TWO years to write this review. “Once upon a time, in a land long since burned to ash, there lived a young princess who loved her kingdom …”Īnd once upon a time there was a reviewer that loved this story and its characters so damn much that it broke her when it ended. ![]()
